Dear Friends,
Dottie and I would like for you to join us for an unforgettable trip to some of the battlefields of Europe where our brave Americans fought and died for the cause of liberty. We will go to Normandy, where among other things, we will have a prayer and praise service in the cemetery of Normandy Beach. If you can come a day or two early we will take you on a beautiful boat tour down the Rhein River where you will see spectacular beauty and many quaint German villages and ancient castles. This would be an additional cost from your hotel and meals of approximately €20 (about $27 depending of the conversion rate at the time). We will leave the church on Sunday night, July 3, after the evening service and travel in a deluxe, air conditioned motor coach with reclining seats to Caen, France. We will rest in the morning and then begin touring on Monday afternoon, July 4. An optional activity will be the Caen War Museum which is one of the finest WWII museums in the world and sets the stage for the tour of the beaches. The prices are €17 (about
$23 adults) and €15.50 (about $21 for children over 10).
If you are coming early I will be happy to make your hotel reservations for you here in Mannheim, Germany. Also, I will be happy to offer you plane reservations which I believe will be the cheapest you will find. I must have your $100 reservation fee by May 1, 2011. This reservation will be applied to the cost of the Normandy tour. Cancellations will have to be made 30 days in advance for the $100 to be returned. Seats will be filling up quickly so make your reservations as soon as possible.

Documents Needed:
* Valid U.S. Tourist passport for military and civilian personnel. Military
without a tourist passport should check with their Orderly Room or the
Foreign Clearance Guide for information on current travel regulations
to France. Non U.S. citizens must meet proper Viva requirements.
Cancellation Fee (per person):
More than 30 days prior to departure, no cost. From 29 days to 15 days
prior 30% of the tour price. From 14 days or less 50% of the tour price.
No refund for no shows.
